Sr. Lucia Castellini
Sr. Lucia Castellini celebrated her 50th Jubilee as a professed Brown County Ursuline in 2015. During those 50+ years she has been in different ministries using the gifts God has blessed her with: Elementary teacher, Ursuline Camp director, Formation/Vocation director, Co-developer and Co-director of First Step Cleaning Company, Congregational Minister, and currently of Hope Emergency Program.
Hope Emergency provides food, clothing, household and personal care items to residents of Adams, Brown, Clinton and Highland counties. This ministry, begun in the 70’s by the Srs. Miriam and Dorothy Thompson. With Diane Vollman, a longtime volunteer of Hope Emergency, we became Co-directors in 2015 following the death of Sr. Sandy.
In between and ongoing is involvement with the Ursuline Companions, BC Alumnae Association, singing in St. Andrew’s choir in Milford, OH, Committee work at Chatfield College and staying in touch with her siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews especially at the Cincinnati Reds games!
